Suzi began painting in 1991 at the age of 42 under her nickname "Suzi". Given the opportunity to study under Lois Smith provided her with the ability to do what she had always wanted to do, but not knowing the right techniques could never pull off on her own.
Suzi paints mainly contemporary and abstract works in oils using photos and other pictures that inspire her. She takes commissions from people that have a special photo that they want a painting of and like's to display her finished work when she is not giving it away to family members.
