Oil on linen on panel
Type: Original still life painting
Condition: New
Technique: Classical Realism
Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" is a classic example of realism.
The sweets I have painted in this painting have a special story that goes back decades in my family; I especially bought them from a famous heritage cafe in Florence, Italy, named Café Scudieri at Piazza Duomo. With every painting, I try to tell a story that is embedded in the experiences of my life.
Painting is signed in oil in the corner and at the back. It does not come with frame or displayed accessories in the images. You will receive a panel board (furniture-grade) on which I paste the fine linen I have painted on.
With it you will receive signed by me Certificate of Authenticity.
I paint on fine 'Oil primed Linen' made in Florence Italy (not on canvas) only in Windsor & Newton paints, medium and varnish, making my paintings extremely fine.
The materials used in the painting are best in class, make it a collectible, made to last for decades (and perhaps centuries) to come.
Paintings as these take several weeks to make, and require detailed deliberation, technique, observation and an artistic choice of subject matter.
Each painting is packaged in a protective, acid-free sleeve and shipped in a flat cardboard mailer; shipping with registered airmail with tracking number.

Samiksha Gupta is a contemporary Indian artist and portrait painter. Samiksha's paintings reflect the influences of 19th Century Realism. She is part of a new movement of artists across the world working in classical painting methods and practices, while staying true to a contemporary aesthetic. Using the alla prima (wet-into-wet) technique promoted by these movements, her work pays tribute to the brushwork finesse of such artists as John Singer Sargent, Sorolla, Anders Zorn, and other modern classical painters.
