Sitengsoe

Sitengsoe is derived from the Sanskrit word and means a stream of cold water. This name was chosen intentionally since Sitengsoe is also the name of the late grandmother of the large family of the founders of Sitengsoe. Founded around 2008 initially as a place for creativity, work and also selling art items made by the family itself, each of them has talent art education background with their respective expertise. Handicrafts, decorations, apparel, interior furnishings, and paintings were among the works of art made during the period. What is special is that the canvas is not necessarily drawn, but the cloth, pottery and wood are also drawn. To reach a wider market than, arts and crafts exhibitions are held at both the regional and national levels. At that time Sitengsoe also opened a training course for painting in various media. Participants include not just the general public, but some big corporations routinely request Sitengsoe to offer training programs for employees as part of their retirement plans. As part of these skill-sharing initiatives, a summary book on painting applications in various mediums was released in 2011. The title of this book is "Art Painting-Ragam Kreasi Painting" by Tiara Aksa Publisher Surabaya. Programs to develop individual artistic skills and knowledge are also conducted through participation in special seminars and training courses in more specific areas. The Sitegsoe trademark was registered by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in 2014 and received a patent / trademark validity certificate. And in 2017, Sitengsoe obtained a business license from the Surabaya City Government Investment Bureau. Sitengsoe Fabric Paint is a sample of trademark product that has been realized and marketed in both offline and online marketplaces. It comes in three major variants: opaque, silk paint, and metallic. One of Sitengsoe's visions and missions is to actively participate in the preservation of Indonesia's natural and cultural wealth through the works of art. For this reason, Sitengsoe also collaborates with a variety of stakeholders, especially artists, art lovers, curators, media / working material distributors, and event organizers. The Sitengsoe gallery collection now houses no fewer than 20 painting artists with diverse approaches and styles who are connected to both traditional and modern markets.
