I am deeply honored to receive the Masterful Mind Award as part of the Circle Quarterly Art Review Magazine Contest. This recognition is a deeply moving affirmation of the emotional and imaginative threads I weave through my work — where the lyrical, the mythic and the intimate coexist in visual form.
Among the selected pieces “Ballad to the Abyss” embodies my exploration of resilience in the face of chaos. A lone figure strums a melody atop a dark oceanic cliff, confronting monstrous forms, that rise like ancient fears. It is a tribute to the artist’s role as witness, as dreamer, as quiet defier of the abyss.
In contrast, “In Nature’s Embrace” reveals another side of my creative voice — tender, almost fable-like. A small hedgehog shelters beneath a rain-drenched flower, clutching a petal as if it were both umbrella and hope. It is a scene, that celebrates vulnerability, the poetry of small lives and the gentle strength of innocence in a storm.
I am grateful to the Circle Foundation for the Arts for recognizing the emotional range and vision behind my work and for fostering a space where such creative diversity is honored. Your platform gives artists across the world a meaningful sense of belonging and for that I am sincerely thankful.
