Quand j'étais dans le village, j'ai essayé de copier cette peinture murale vieille de 600 ans (je ne suis pas sûr de l'exactitude de la date) du temple. Il y avait des petits enfants qui jouaient à cache-cache à côté de moi. Le derrière les grands moulins à prières formait étonnement de bonnes cachettes. La dame du temple tournait longuement dans le couloir carré, tout en faisant tourner les moulins à prières et en marmonnant les paroles sacrées, sans être dérangée par les enfants. A l'étage, les lamas priaient constamment ce jour-là et de nombreux villageois venaient les aider (concernant cette aide, je suppose que c'était pour apporter de la nourriture et des boissons). J'ai été profondément captivé par l'atmosphère unique de ce temple.

I frequented the drawing club at the University of Lausanne, to refining my skills and perfecting my technique. Along this journey, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the captivating works of contemporary French and Italian comic artists such as Nicolas de Crécy and Andrea Serio. Their art truly broadened my horizons and made me realize the limitless potential that drawing still possesses in an era dominated by photography and videos.
Now, my wife and I have fully embraced the adventurous life of backpackers, constantly journeying through the muddy roads of Southeast and Central Asia. Drawing has become an integral part of my travel experience, a way to document each place we visit. I also began to take small drawing commissions from the internet. While photos and videos are great, they tend to confine our memories to specific moments frozen in time. Drawings, on the other hand, offer a detached perspective, allowing our memories to remain fluid. I relish the power to manipulate reality in my drawings, yet I strive for honesty and authenticity in each work. I firmly believe that the human experience is interconnected, and that my drawings can resonate with others, adding meaning to their lives.
