Shanaka Kulatunga is a contemporary Sri Lankan painter whose art captures the essence of everyday life with remarkable depth and emotion. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Shanaka's journey into the world of art began with his enrollment at the Vibhavi Academy of Fine Arts, where he honed his skills under the guidance of the esteemed artist, Dr. Chandraguptha Thenuwara.

His art transcends boundaries, earning him an invitation to represent Sri Lanka at the International Exhibition of Artists for Peace during the Shanghai Cooperation Bishkek Summit in 2019, held in Kyrgyzstan.
