La peinture est mon moyen privilégié de communiquer mes impressions et de rester en connexion intime avec la vie. J’utilise un grand éventail de couleurs qui se mélangent pour former des « photos » de mes perceptions de l’intérieur et de l’extérieur.

Depuis 15 ans j’ai essayé plusieurs sortes de techniques, mais c’est l’acrylique qui a retenu mon attention, car sa consistance et plasticité épouse véritablement mon intention expressive.

Même si mes peintures sont le produit d’une libre expression, je ne considère pas l’art comme le réceptacle d’émotions égocentriques et éphémères. Je cherche, au contraire, à capturer, matérialiser et partager des sentiments de façon universelle. Je me considère moi-même comme un canal spécifique.

Painting is my favorite way to communicate my impressions and strengthen connection with life. I use a wide range of colors that melt together to form “pictures” of my perceptions.

I paint mostly with acrylic, because its plasticity fits very well to my expressif intentions.

Although my paintings are free expression productions, I avoid using art as a mean of releasing egoistic and ephmeral emotions. I try instead to capture, materialize and share feelings in a universal way. I consider myself as a particular channel. I hope you will enjoy.

Sena LM was born in Paris (France). She is a talented young painter and sculptor. She studied fine arts at « l’École Régionale des Métiers de l’Animation » (ERMA), in Juvisy-sur-Orge. Most of her artwork are abstract expressionist productions.

Sena’s work has been exhibited in France, at the “Marché d’art contemporain de Bastille” (Contemporary Art Market at Place de la Bastille) in mai 2004 and at the “Portes ouvertes des Ateliers d’artistes de Belleville”, art ateliers organized by The City of Paris in mai 2003.

Sena has always practized painting as a privileged language to express in a beautiful and universal way her Intuitions and inner feelings.

During the last 15 years, she has painted with different mediums but acrylic is her favourite one. Besides, she makes very fine and original black ink drawings on paper.
