MY HALF IS YOUR WHOLE: Sculpture Art in Search of Meaning

Art is a powerful tool to express one's inner world and discover universal realities. This search is embodied by the use of different materials and the experience of different techniques. The creation of a sculpture is a reflection of the artist's effort to transform his feelings and thoughts into a concrete form. The sculpture titled "MY HALF IS YOUR WHOLE" appears as a product of this search.

This 1 meter tall sculpture is a reflection of the artist's effort to discover his inner world and universal reality. The fact that it is made of ceramic clay with two-dimensional and three-dimensional figures shows that the artist worked with different techniques to express different dimensions and layers. The fact that the sculpture was made using three different artistic glazes emphasizes the importance given to the detail and fineness of the work. The use of matte black, matte copper and shiny copper glazes gives the sculpture a rich and touching appearance.

The use of gold gilding in the eyes shows that the statue has a mystical and deep meaning. Gold is often associated with power, wealth, and divinity throughout human history. Therefore, the addition of gold foil to the eyes may suggest that the statue represents the inner strength and potential of man. It has been stated that the profile of each land, sea and flying animal is used as a complementary element to the other animal. This emphasizes the universal unity and connection in which we find ourselves in the sculpture. Each figure is a part of the other, and no one is different from the other. This is a reminder that humanity is a universal whole and everyone is interconnected.

As a result, the sculpture titled "MY HALF IS YOUR WHOLE" is a reflection of the artist's inner search and universal reality. Figures of different sizes, details processed with different techniques and artistic secrets used emphasize the richness and depth of the sculpture. The addition of gold foil and the connections between the figures indicate that the statue represents human inner strength and universal connection. This sculpture, titled "MY HALF IS YOUR WHOLE", reminds viewers of the universal nature and unity of man, while also celebrating the universal language and power of art.
