When viewers first lay eyes on my "Lion" stainless - steel, hollowed - out sculpture, they are immediately struck by the dazzling mirror - like reflections and the delicate lightness of the intricate hollowed - out structure. Were they able to touch it, the smooth and cool surface of the stainless steel would offer a tactile pleasure. Auraly, one can envision the soft, whistling sound as the wind filters through the hollows, like a gentle serenade.
My creative inspiration stems from the pursuit of rich sensory experiences. In spring, the glint of sunlight on the steel seems to merge with the blooming vitality around; in the evening, the shadows cast by the hollows add a layer of mystery. This sculpture is a celebration of the multi - faceted sensory encounters it evokes.
