I chose stainless steel for its durability, sleek appearance, and reflective properties. In "Bull Head", the unique application of stainless - steel's hollowness creates a striking visual effect. Advanced techniques like precise laser cutting and meticulous welding were employed to shape the bull's head. The cutting defined the intricate patterns of the hollowed - out part, while the welding ensured the structural integrity.
My inspiration came from the exploration of new technologies and the need to accurately present the animal's form. The theme is the combination of technology and art. A major challenge was integrating the wooden bull horns with the stainless - steel head. I solved this by using a custom - designed joint structure, achieving a seamless blend and demonstrating the perfect marriage of different materials and techniques.
