Sasha Alexander Gorsky was born in Zagreb, Croatia, on May 11, 1974. His ancestors fled Russia in 1917. Sasha's parents left Croatia and settled in France in the 1980s.

An expert encouraged him and advised him to transform his drawings into paintings, he discovered art in all its forms, thanks to his slavic upbringing which emphasised the combination of academic learning and  cultural development

In 2009, he moved to Portugal, Lisbon, where he created numerous hyperrealistic portraits that gained international recognition

In 2020, he discovered the use of IA and reprographic techniques which through high quality printing methods, simulate the appearance of painted canvases, this marked the beginning of a new creative style for him, mixing elements of classical art and modernism, as well as abstract and hyperrealistic influences
