"When Both Sides Agree" is an abstract painting that captivates with its dynamic use of long paint strokes of varying thicknesses and intricate details. The canvas bursts with a vibrant array of colors, punctuated by a bright pink background, creating a striking contrast that draws the eye into its depths.

The composition is built upon a foundation of loops and arches, intertwining and overlapping to suggest movement and energy. Each stroke of paint contributes to the textured richness of the artwork, as layers of color blend and interact, creating a sense of depth and dimension.

Acrylic paint, acrylic marker and watercolor pencil on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas. I have left a 6cm border to allow for stretching. The artwork can easily be stretched at your local framing store. The painting will be shipped in a tube. It has been sealed with a gloss varnish to protect the artwork from UV and dust.

Samantha Malone (born 1978) is an Australian/Israeli artist currently based in Tel Aviv. Her work is inspired by geometric abstraction, cubism, and the dynamic interplay between order and chaos. Her paintings are characterized by dynamic compositions, vibrant colors and layered patterns. Through her work, she reflects on themes of fragmentation and interconnectedness, illustrating how distinct elements can coexist to create a visually compelling narrative.

Working primarily with acrylic paint, Samantha employs a mixed-media approach that includes markers, pencils, and oil sticks to create depth and texture. Her process involves layering colors and patterns, sometimes scraping back layers to reveal hidden hues beneath. This technique encourages viewers to engage more deeply with the composition.
