Sailev jest współczesnym, wielokrotnie nagradzanym francuskim malarzem. Sailev czerpie inspirację z otaczającej przyrody i społeczeństw ludzkich. Jego poetyckie, ale prowokacyjne wizje świata ukazane są w sennym wszechświecie, w którym łączy psychodeliczne konstrukcje z użyciem symboliki i humoru, aby stworzyć kilka warstw interpretacji swoich prac.
Sailev promuje sztukę ekologiczną i sztukę zaangażowaną społecznie za pośrednictwem kilku grup i platform. Jest członkiem międzynarodowej organizacji non-profit Artists For Conservation (AFC), która skupia artystów z ponad 30 krajów zaangażowanych w ochronę przyrody. Sailev współpracuje również z Millennium Alliance for Humanity and Biosphere MAHB Uniwersytetu Stanforda, nowojorskim Eco Art Project oraz amerykańskim kolektywem artystycznym For Mother Nature.
