Biography
Rumen Nikolov Dimitrov is a contemporary Bulgarian painter. He is an abstract figurative painter who uses his works to explore the beauty and aesthetics of the world around him. All of his paintings resemble soul searches in some way.
Rumen Nikolov Dimitrov was born in 1975, in Bulgaria, where he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", majoring in Painting. Many of his works are in the private collections of: Noemi Sanin - ex Ambassador of Morocco, Spain, the United Kingdom and Venezuela, Dona Sonsoles Vaina Menendez - coordinator and manager of the National Museum and Center for the Arts "Reina Sofia", Carlos Santacrus - member of the family of Queen Fabiola.

Anniversary exhibition "Image and Likeness"
Shumen,Bulgaria
Under the title "Image and Likeness", the artist born in Shumen will present nearly twenty oil and acrylic paintings, in which he remains true to his creative passion to explore the beauty of the world. Rumen Dimitrov is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Veliko Tarnovo University "St. Cyril and Methodius", where he graduated in "Painting". Part of his life and creative path is also a three-year course in sculpture, but for more than three decades the artist has been devoted to the fascinating, in his words, world of painting, and his preferred technique is oil, because, again in his words, oil gives passion and depth to every stroke. At the moment, Rumen Dimitrov is the author of a total of nine solo exhibitions in Madrid, Spain, and in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo and Shumen, as well as a participant in a collective exhibition in Madrid. The current exhibition, with which the artist celebrates his 50th anniversary, is his second, presented in the gallery space of the Shumen library. The exhibition "Image and Likeness" will open on June 2, at 7:00 p.m. and will be on view in the library's Exhibition Hall until June 21. See less
My works
Hi,I have realized a wide range of activities: an individual exhibition in the international house of culture, Plaza del Sol/Madrid. I have painted commissioned and original paintings for the Gallery 'Factoria de Babel' Las Rosas/Madrid. A large part of my works are in the private collections of: Noemi Sanin - current ambassador of Colombia in England and former in Spain Doña Sonsoles Vaina Menendez - coordinator and manager at the National Museum and Art Center 'Reina Sofia' Carlos Santacruz - a member of the family of Queen Fabiola from Belgium.
