J'essaie d'entrer presque par effraction dans l'intimité du "regard". La couleur est mon moteur qui marche à l'huile, au pastel, à l'acrylique et à l'encre.

Le regard me fascine, celui du modèle vivant,  celui que je vois dans un paysage que je scrute comme un visage. Tout est matière à regarder, l'autre et moi-même..

La couleur me rend heureuse, m'enthousiasme. Elle est partout et pourtant elle est souvent invisible donc j'essaie toujours avec mes petits moyens de la rendre visible.

I try to break into the intimacy of the "gaze". Colour is my engine, which works with oil, pastel, acrylic and ink.

The gaze fascinates me, that of the living model, that which I see in a landscape that I scrutinize like a face. Everything is something to look at, the other and myself.

Colour makes me happy, enthuses me. It is everywhere and yet it is often invisible, so I always try with my small means to make it visible... Rosemay 2023.
