With a degree in History from USP, a master's and doctor's degree in Ancient Philosophy, he creates works in acrylic on various themes of Brazilian literature and culture. He has already held several exhibitions as an amateur artist in São Paulo and in the ABC region of São Paulo, especially showing mounted canvases and supports without chassis. He pictorially addressed elements of philosophical culture and Greek mythology, having exhibited his work at soirées, popular cultural fairs and universities. He is currently resuming his career as an artist parallel to university teaching. He is a researcher of Greek culture and a translator from Greek to Portuguese, having translated Plato (Phaedrus) and Hippocrates (On Laughter and Madness), both by Hedra. He has been working voluntarily as an illustrator of book covers and special projects in the area of literature and philosophy for Editora Himeros (Paraíba). In this series, he addresses themes from the Brazilian, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous imagination, rescuing legends and aspects of religious culture. It aims to illustrate scenes from the Afro-Brazilian and indigenous imaginary through painting on paper. He conducts research on popular culture as a source for his graphic work, especially on the Brazilian religious and popular imagery.
