Originele kunstwerken zijn elk werk dat als authentiek wordt beschouwd en geen kopie of imitatie van het originele werk van een kunstenaar. Originele kunstwerken kunnen elk type schilderij, beeldhouwwerk, performance of andere media zijn. Er zijn veel soorten originele media. Gemengde media zijn onder meer olie-, acryl- en aquarelverf. Voor werkplaatsschilderijen die getuigen van vakmanschap moet deze toeschrijving genuanceerder zijn. Hoewel ze om verschillende redenen misschien minder waardevol zijn, hadden de reproducties en kopieën een enorme impact op onze ervaring. Ze bereiken een breder publiek dan de originelen en werken als een tonicum tegen commodificatie. Het oorspronkelijke werk zou ook kunnen verwijzen naar het eerste werk, dat altijd voorafgaat aan alle andere. Het kan ook verwijzen naar een prototype of een model waaruit andere werken kunnen worden gemaakt. Elk werk vertoont grote overeenkomsten met het origineel.

R.K was born in the Alsace region in 1955.His interest in painting was aroused during the 1970's and he started his expositions during the 1980's (the " Salon des Indépendants in Paris and various expositions throughout France)He is a member of the A.A.P.I.A. ( Association des Artistes Peintres Indépendants Agathois).He was exposed at the Bartholdi Museum in Colmar.
These years were mainly under the influence of the " surrealisme". He obtained several prizes in different expositions and started to be recognized as an artiste in Switzerland and Germany.
In 1990, he moved to Béziers, where he paused in his painting (between 1992 to 2003) to practice the art of cooking. Un satisfied with his attempts of different technological aspects of painting (computer assisted designs, 3D animation, logos etc.) he returns to his original painting in 2003 and realise a personnal exhibition in Beziers to expose his aerograph "Encres De Couleurs Sur Papiers" in 2004.During 2005 he stops his attempts in the art of cuisine to develop his personal style in painting. He tries to blend classicisme, impressionnisme, cubisme symbolisme and surrealisme. His aim is to obtain a more " primary style", neglecting the technical aspectswhile trying to find a link between figurative and abstract style by mixing different elements ( stickig, paintbrush, aerograph and different materials) in an attempt to find more emotions and more sensitivity in reaction to the modern world.
His talent is recognized by several prizes:
Gold Medal in Agde during the Autumn exposition in 2006
Obtura by the CIRDOC in Béziers
Prize of the Regional Counsel in Florensac
Different regional exhibitions in 2007
( Boujan , Clermont l'Hérault, Agde, Lignan sur Orb, Pezenas)
