Redha Benidiri

Born in Algiers, versatile painter, portraitist and self-taught designer. Started with individual exhibitions in Algiers, since high school, where he organized more than 20 personal exhibitions (all in Algiers, except one at the cultural center of Sidi Belabbès). He also participated in +170 collective exhibitions, national and international fairs, art workshops, across most of the wilayas; Oran, Sidi Bel Abbes, Blida, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Adrar, Ilizi, Al Bayedh, Tlemcen, Guelma, Skikda, Ain Timouchent, Djijel, Tebessa, Naama ... Author of thousands of paintings and drawings. Hundreds have been acquired by collectors, art lovers and tourists from several European countries, China, Japan, USA ... Technique: Paintings on canvas and paper. Started with oil, then moved on to acrylic. Also works with watercolor, pastel, various pencils, graphite, red chalk, charcoal...Style: Started with realism and impressionism: Landscapes, still lifes, portraits and animal themes. Then, he moved towards an art of the imagination close to surrealism.
