Hello, beautiful person,
As you seem interested, let me introduce my shy artist within :)
My journey as an artist truly begun when I bailed out of my industrial design university studies around 4 years ago. I realized that the true art has to be felt, not studied. The real, spontaneous creativity has to be nurtured, not supressed by academic and trend stereotypes. So I started to create.
It took me almost three years of constantly changing periods of enthusiasm and feeling of being lost. But all that time, I was creating, drawing one picture after another just to put it in the folder with the expectation of the next one being better. During this time, without even noticing at first, I found the true nature of being an artist - to create upon the inception, not intention. Finally, after three years of uncertainty and self-doubt, I became to produce something that, at least from my perspective, was worth sharing with the world.
The next step was adding some significance and confidence to it by shifting from pastels on small sheet paper to large-scale acrylic paiting on canvas. My work ever since is spontaneous and driven by inspiration from the outside, as well as the inception from the inside. I never scrabbed any painting, nor started the new one with the intention of improving the previous concept. I present my work as it came to me - inperfect, disorganized, even chaotic sometimes, but real and consistent as far as my understanding of creative art goes.
The artwork market is overflowing with so many pieces from so many authors, decorated by so many awards from so many exhibitions. Patterns emerge, art becomes a product. It suddenly doesn't matter how the person feels when looking at the painting, what matters is the reputation of the author and evaluation from the so-called "critics". Well, as the wise man once said - every goods has it's buyer. And as the slightly angry wise man once said - f*ck that sh*t! :)
My work will never be aimed to win the awards, to hype it's reputation, to fake it's value. My artist path will always be the path of a renegade. My work will always be ignoring trends and rules. It will always be original, as I have no idols to copy and nobody to seek an evaluation from. You may hate it, you may love it, at least what you feel should be real...
By buying my work, you buy something unique and a piece of myself always goes with it. You are not buying the production-polished studio album from an overhyped singer who is too delicate to make a proper live performance. You are buying the front-row ticket to proper rock'n'roll show. You are not becoming my customer, but my partner in creation, as there is no show without audience and no art without someone to share the essence of it.
Are you ready for this kind of commitment? :)
