Como definir estilo Surrealismo ?

O surrealismo é um movimento literário e artístico que surgiu na França em 1924, escrito por André Breton. Pode ser traduzido como "acima do realismo" ou "mais que real". É um ditado do pensamento, onde a razão e as preocupações estéticas ou morais devem ser apagadas. Para Breton, o surrealismo se justifica por um desejo de emancipação: ao libertar o inconsciente para reconciliá-lo com o consciente, a humanidade será capaz de se libertar das restrições impostas pela lógica e pela razão. Os artistas e escritores serão, portanto, inspirados no movimento Dada, bem como nas teses de Sigmund Freud e nas obras dos Simbolistas, em particular as de Gustave Moreau e Odilon Redon.
