Sobre o autor
(Luís Filipe Lima Albuquerque) was born in 1983.
He is a student at the Escola Universitária de Artes de Coimbra [Coimbra University College of Arts] and has been devoted to painting since 2000.
Since 2004 his work has been regularly exhibited at the Albuquerque e Lima Gallery, where he is a resident artist.
Luis Albuquerque’s paintings and photographs are available at the Albuquerque e Lima Gallery and can be viewed in the catalogue or on LCD at the registered offices of the Company (see contact information).
luís albuquerque (Luís Filipe Lima Albuquerque) nasceu em em 1983. Estudante-trabalhador cursa Design de Comunicação na Escola Universitária de Artes de Coimbra. Dedica-se à Pintura desde 2000. Expõe regularmente desde 2004 na Galeria Albuquerque e Lima de que se tornou um dos artistas residentes. Colaborou em vários projectos artisticos da Albuquerque e Lima estando representado em várias publicações ( Mitos da Arte - antologia de pintores portugueses contemporâneos - 2009 Chiado Editora; Questionarte - 2010 INSAT; Anuário de Arte Galeria - 2011 Fiarte; Arte Atual 2012 - Ed. Marcos Buarque; Próspero International Year Book - 2012 INSAT).
Na pintura e na fotografia o autor adopta a abstracção como linguagem. Utiliza habitualmente tecnología digital trabalhada quase como ferramenta experimental. Explora predominantemente elementos visuais e texturas, sobrepondo desenhos manuais com esboços digitais, investigando onde o computador o pode levar. Na transferência, para a tela, dessas construções digitais, reforça-as com uma paleta cromática ampla, onde linhas de força de inesperado design interceptam largos horizontes cromáticos, dimensionados numa espacialidade cativante onde o aleatório ou o inesperado se apresenta rico de sugestões.
