Sobre o autor
A graduate of the department of Chemical Engineering from Hacettepe University, Ayse Mesude Kumbasar first interested in painting in 1993. She took private lessons for a while. Following that, she deepened her interest in painting in 2000. She intensively studied painting for 4 years under the guidance of Painter Burhan Yildirim.
Kumbasar, who opened her first studio in İstanbul 2004, moved to Kusadasi in 2006 and Bodrum in 2017. She has continued her work in the studios she had in those cities.
Having held 11 solo exhibitions, Kumbasar participated more than 40 mixed and competitive exhibitions. In addition, she took part in various international art workshops and festivals both in Turkiye and abroad.
Kumbasar, a member of the International Culture and Art Dialogues (UKSDD), Agean Region Visual and Plastic Arts Assosiation (EGESDER) and Bodrum Art and Culture Assosiation (BODRUMART), is still pursuing her work in her own studio in Bodrum. Also, she works as a manager of a private art gallery in Bodrum.
