As an artist I try to use my skill to evoke a deep emotional, tactile, and almost kinetic experience. I want to make a difference in the world by drawing attention to the important issues we are facing as a planet and the fragility of our environment to sustain our current systems. I spend a lot of time outdoors as it is very healing and grounding space for me which is often reflected in the imagery I paint.

Ideally, I would like my art to be a jumping off point for discussion of some of the profound environmental issues we are facing worldwide. I feel blessed to have grown up with gorgeous sunsets on the dunes of Lake Michigan, crickets chirping in dense woodland, abundant wildlife, and so much more. I want to make sure that my grandchildren can still view a Blue Heron on the shores of Lake Michigan.

I invite you to reconnect and view the world as a vibrant and magical universe in which the future is literally ours to create. Its our future to protect. I am mostly a self-taught artist, although I have taken a variety of classes over the years, including a stint at Grand Valley State University. I am very proud of my PuertoRican and Irish heritage. I would describe my art and poetry as a stylized fractal of uplifting and visual vibrant narratives in both visual and written form. You can usually find me covered in paint, drinking coffee, and jamming out to some music. I often hit the nature trails with my kids, paint brushes, and even my puppy in tow, whenever I am feeling the need to reconnect and destress I head out with my yoga mat and camera. I have been staying busy this year with exhibitions, murals, podcasts, vehicle designs, graphic design work, and more.
