Preeti Bawa is a versatile artist, who combines in herself the various roles of fine artist, designer, muralist and art educator, in which she brings about exacting standards. Her passionate belief in the strength of traditional Indian art forms combined with an in depth understanding of contemporary designs makes her a modern day 'Art & Design Crusader'.

An alumni of Sir J.J. School of Fine Arts, Mumbai, she has exhibited her art works in India and abroad, where she has won acclaim and appreciation. She systematically uses her talents with utmost zeal and confidence in order to successfully perform as an artist, designer and art educator.

Her artwork is an exploration - emotional, spiritual and physical - of what is seen and unseen in the Nature. The gradual change of forms, from one state of being to another are a signature of of her artworks. The layers of rich, earthy yet vibrant colours and diverse textures further characterise her creations. Both visual and tactile textures inspire her and therefore are a very prominent part of the artworks she creates.
