Born on 2nd December 1986 Allahabad India. The artist Poonam Tiwari has a mystical mind. And a beautiful soulful expressions in her art. The colorful fishlike humanized faces with all their true and false imprisonment of the world acting to their best to please almighty. This is how the theme takes us to the salvation. Poonam's interest in abstract paintings begins with her earliest art experience as an undergraduate at Allahabad University. Later her years spent studying painting at Visual art department under the guidance of professor Ajay Kumar Jaitely, Dr. Shyam Behari Agrawal(Senior Artist of India), The great Indian Artist and The Founder of Sameekshawadi Art Revolutionist Dr. Ram Chandra Shukla, Who laid the ground work for her life's work as an Artist. She doesn't paint to amuse bars and restaurants but she paints to pat her as well as our big soul. The panic world, The sufferings of woman are the inspiration for her art. Her paintings represents the living beings. Some times the characters of her paintings seems more alive than the heartless Robot like people running after money and worldly things.This is what her art is colors, emotions and expressions.
Artist Poonam Tiwari maintains a studio in Allahabad since 2006, She has had solo shows at Nirala Art Gallery(university of Allahabad), Art museum (Allahabad Museum), Gandhi art Gallery Allahabad India, She also participated in Art Fair ( kala Mela) chitrakoot, Lucknow and Allahabad, She got first position in Art Competition organised by Lalit kala academy (Allahabad girls Wing) Second position in 27 Art point Indian National Art show and competition Jodhpur, 1st position in collage competition by Ewing Cristian college and so on..
Poonam Tiwari is now teaching in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as an art teacher. For Poonam helping a student shape their personal vision and exploring the painting process with her students energizes her own creative efforts.
