Pierre Vanmansart

I am a painter who has been passionate about art since I was very young. I have always been fascinated by artistic expression and I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. In 1975, I discovered the technique of oil painting, seduced by its richness and depth. The following year, I joined the Atelier des Amis des Arts in Marcq-en-Barœul, where I was taught all the basics of painting and drawing.

Over the years, I developed my own style of painting, which is rather figurative with an impressionist tendency. From time to time, I also turn to abstraction to explore new artistic horizons.

I participate each year in many exhibitions in the region, where I like to share my passion for art with others and discuss my inspirations and my artistic approach. I also exhibit in several galleries on the internet. I believe that painting is a powerful means of expression that allows to transmit emotions and touch people deep inside themselves.

I am constantly looking for new challenges and new techniques to continue to evolve in my art. I am convinced that art is a universal means of communication that can bring people together and bring them joy and inspiration.
