Silvano Franzi

Silvano Franzi nasce a Verbania, il 14 Gennaio del 1945. All'età di 23 anni esordisce come semplice fotoamatore, ma ben presto la fotografia diviene per lui una vera e propria scelta professionale. Il suo lavoro nasce dal grande interesse per l'elaborazione dell'immagine e gli effetti grafici. Oltre alla fotografia convenzionale, egli si avvale dell'uso di tecniche e procedimenti meccanici e chimici: solarizzazione, viraggi, fotogrammi (foto-grafia), chimigrammi, controllo del contrasto con maschere, conversione dell'immagine da "tono continuo" a immagine "a tratto", collages e altri... I materiali usati sono tra i più disparati: prodotti di altissima qualità, pellicole e carta scaduta o deteriorata, bagni esauriti e contaminati; tutto ciò che possa condurre l'autore al raggiungimento dell'effetto voluto.
Fotografo industriale per un decennio, ha a disposizione le migliori attrezzature presenti sul mercato in quel periodo.
Appassionato di grafica (disegnava automobili all'età di 13 anni, come hobby),nel 1991 segue un corso di "Autocad"avanzato e inizia, all'età di 40 anni, ad occuparsi di progettazione computerizzata; disegna inoltre un centinaio di orologi. Dall'utilizzo della Reflex alla scelta di prediligere l'uso del pc, il passo è breve.

Alla fine degli anni novanta si occupa di Marketing (Art director e comunicazione). Come Art Director gira uno spot in 3/4" presso una nota casa autmobilistica.
Ha lavorando in diversi settori: design (designer d'interni), moda (intimo femminile), Industrie di elettronica, informatica, marketing, e, successivamente, nel campo della telefonia mobile (Network Implementation)
Da circa due anni riprende in mano la sua Reflex, pur mostrando una predilezione per elaborazioni di grafica 3D, e la sperimentazione (fotografia sperimentale e Contemporary DIGITAL ART).
Realizza 6 DVD di animazione 3D e come WEBMASTER realizza i propri siti WEB

• Nel marzo 2011 partecipa alla I EDIZIONE COLLETTIVA MAIL ART "IN ART", organizzata dallo spazio ARTECARLA di Carla Colombo- IMBERSAGO LC (ITALY)
• Nell'ottobre del 2011 una sua Personale on-line presso la galleria"La Vostra Arte" di Carla Colombo
• Nell'agosto del 2012 partecipa a: Svet stvaraju KREATIVNI LJUDI/CREATIVE PEOPLE create World 063/260980, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia

Silvano Franzi

Silvano Franzi was born in Verbania, January 14, 1945. At the age of 23 years started as a simple amateur, but soon the photograph becomes for him a real professional choice. His work comes from great interest for image processing and visual effects. In addition to conventional photography, he makes use of techniques and mechanical and chemical: solarization, toning, frames (photo-graphy), chimigrammi, contrast control with masks, image conversion from "continuous tone" in the image " Stroke ", collages and more ...
