I love retro design and marketing and the absurdity of the messages and tropes of the 50' & 60's. This whole series is about leaning the 'other way', borrowing from the retro aesthetic but distorting the figures and message.
STRETCHING & FRAMING
I give my collectors the chance to purchase my paintings unstretched. Working like this also allows the painting to extend around the edges, which means the artwork will look great with or without a decorative frame.
