Raised by artistic parents it was inevitable for me to produce my first oil painting at the age of five. Since then I have studied and practiced in many areas of the arts. From an early age I have won numerous awards and through this and my visual work I am highly sort after in areas of teaching in the arts and regularly win art contracts from councils. I am a professional artist who is able to survive off what I am passionate about.

My experience includes working in varies artistic roles and living in different parts of Australia such as the country and the city. My painting reflects the simplicity of the weekend and holiday living. I focus on Australian recreation such as children playtime’ past recreational history and fashion of the 1920’s onwards to the 1980’s. I enjoy working with acrylics and treat the canvas as ad 3d surface often leaving surprises underneath and around the edges of the canvas. I like to remind the viewer that one needs to remember to leave time for play and laughter.
