I began my creative journey as a fashion designer, but as I evolved artistically, I felt the limitations of my imagination within that field. Seeking greater freedom of expression, I transitioned into painting and started experimenting with various materials such as epoxy resin, dried plants, and polymer compounds.
To deepen my artistic skills, I pursued formal education in different disciplines. I studied drawing at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, where I developed a deep appreciation for portraiture, architecture, and composition. Later, I expanded my artistic horizons at Central Saint Martins in London, where I explored contemporary art and diversified both my materials and thematic approach.
My studies in London liberated me from strict academic norms, allowing me to embrace a more fluid and experimental approach to art. This experience infused my work with a sense of playfulness and humor while also deepening my engagement with meaningful artistic themes.
Nature, flowers, people, architecture, and animals serve as the primary sources of my inspiration. Through my art, I strive to convey the power of the impressions I experience while gazing at the extraordinary beauty of blooming gardens I seek out during my travels around the world. I aim to capture the essence of a fascinating human face or the immediacy of a beloved living being.
When creating my works, I want to inspire viewers with a sense of joy, creativity, and a desire to build beautiful relationships, perform kind deeds, and simply live with an open heart and positive thoughts.
