OSKAR BETHENCOURT Born in the city of Santo Domingo in 1987, Dominican Republic, his inclination for art came at a very early age, at the age of 12, starting in a self-taught way in various private workshops, later entering the National School of Fine Arts. Arts and the Altos De Chavon School of Design. to fully dedicate himself to cultivating his art. It was then that he sought the direction of renowned art teachers including Rosa Tavárez, and Elsa Núñez. thus gradually developing and he became a highly valued artist, despite never having massively promoted his works. A tireless, persistent and dedicated worker, the most outstanding characteristics of his art are the dedication and perfectionist desire found in his paintings. With more than 20 years as a professional dedicated to the art of painting, and recurring guest group exhibitions among renowned artists from Latin America. Oskar Bethencourt has exhibited in more than 8 countries including Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Italy. his wor are in various and private collections.
