I wanted to share a bit about my process, I love painting giant fashion illustrations in watercolors, this has been a great place to try and share my work with those who will appreciate it. I am very grateful to be able to share something I love so much, and create for hours. I have been painting for over 25 years and have done work for many people, companies, brands.

My name is Sonia and I am an apparel designer and illustrator, most of my work here/presented is done in watercolor, some pen and ink pieces here and there. All the designs are original from imagination unless noted.
I generally work on a 20x24 inch watercolor block in cold and rough press and use watercolors mainly.
If creating something in pen and ink I do still try to either add pastels or watercolors I want all the pieces to be unique. I truly believe that all the illustrations look better large as they are created. The largest size I have worked on is 30x40 inches, but i can also create larger or smaller pieces on special request if you inbox me with your details. When working on a special piece or commission i like to share the process with you so you can see the evolution of the piece. Watercolor is a very mystical media as it can mold into something very unique and one of kind that cannot be replicated again.
