I am Smith Olaoluwa, a renowned international artist with a deep passion for creating vibrant and thought-provoking works. Born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria, my journey into the world of art was shaped by the rich cultural heritage of West Africa and the formal education I received at the University of Benin, Edo State. There, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Applied Arts,training under some of the foremost artists in the country.

Throughout my career, I have participated in a variety of exhibitions, from online showcases to solo exhibitions, which have allowed my work to reach a global audience. My creative process is deeply influenced by my belief that art is not just about representation, but about evoking feeling and meaning. I work to present objects, creatures, and scenarios in their true, alluring vividness, capturing their essence and infusing them with life on canvas.
My art is an invitation to see the world through a different lens - a lens where colors are not just shades, but emotions and stories waiting to be told. I am constantly fascinated by the idea of transformation, and I strive to bring that sense of change and movement into my work, making it something that speaks to the viewer on a deep and personal level.
When I am not immersed in my art, I am constantly seeking inspiration from my surroundings, the people I meet, and the world at large. I believe that creativity is a part of everyday life, and I draw from all my experiences to inform my work.
