I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1948. My parents came from Ukraine. I never studied visual arts formally, but my mother taught me some techniqus, and I followed later my own way experimenting with mixed media. At the same time, I begun at 4 playing piano "by ear". I studied Chemistry, and worked in Scientific Research. the conditions were harsh, and soon I got ill by chronic intoxication, which left me with some healt troubles. I left the labs at 33. I got involved in environmental movements, in groups in favor of better health conditions for workers, and local environment protection. My english is elemental.I apologize for the mistakes From the site I have at "...I paint and draw since very young, and sometimes feel I am in a dream. When I close my eyes, many times I have extraordinary visions impossible to paint. I do not care about what is in fashion but what comes to my mind and try to reproduce it...I like to experiment with different techniques and mediums. In the same day I have the need to do different things, so it seems that it is not the same person who is painting... Dream and reality merge frequently "
