I am Self-taught artist. For more than 10 years I have worked as a vector graphics illustrator in photo banks. I am a biochemist by training, and after graduating from university I worked for several years at a research institute. My paternal grandfather was also a self-taught artist. As a child, I spent a lot of time among his works. Basically, my grandfather painted portraits, watercolor landscapes, made copies of famous works. Even as a child, I noticed a peculiarity in myself that when I look at different textures, my imagination can draw several pictures. The war in Ukraine and 2 weeks of occupation without electricity, water, heat, food and under shelling made me regret that I never took up painting in my life. Now I'm trying to make up for lost time. In my work, I like to use bright colors to embellish life. I don't draw from life, mostly from my head. I use life only to study structures. In abstract works, I first apply color spots, then I look at what can be improved, I can go into texture detailing.
