In this work, I reinterpreted François Boucher's work named ''Leda and swan'', one of the pioneers of the Rococo period.
A distinctive pink tone and skin color of the Rococo period has never reached such a creamy flavor. I aimed to re-paint this aesthetic understanding, which also affected me, with a modern expression.[...]
In this work, I reinterpreted François Boucher's work named ''Leda and swan'', one of the pioneers of the Rococo period.
A distinctive pink tone and skin color of the Rococo period has never reached such a creamy flavor. I aimed to re-paint this aesthetic understanding, which also affected me, with a modern expression. I am re-styling Rococo works as a series with a contemporary interpretation for today's modern art understanding.
My works are not replicas. They are completely different contemporary and modern personal interpretations.
