This painting tells the story of a student who humbly eats rice from a trash bin as a form of ascetic practice and a testament to his sincerity in seeking knowledge. With a pure heart and unwavering dedication, he frees himself from pride and worldly comforts, embracing simplicity for the sake of blessings.

The visual representation of the book signifies knowledge gained through the blessing of discarded rice. The book within the body symbolizes a person filled with vast knowledge. The worn-out clothing represents simplicity and the hardship of asceticism. The clouded head illustrates that a truly ascetic person possesses elevated thoughts, as if they transcend the clouds, beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.

The floating sheets of paper surrounding him, like butterflies, represent his simple way of life, which in turn surrounds him with knowledge and learned individuals. I am a dedicated painter whose work is deeply rooted in emotional expression. Born and raised in Ponorogo, East Java, my passion for the visual arts began in elementary school and has continued to evolve ever since. My artistic journey was initially shaped by my fascination with contemporary calligraphy, which I explored and developed further during my formative years in Islamic secondary school.
For me, painting is more than just a form of artistic expression—it is a profound emotional dialogue. Every brushstroke carries a depth of feeling, transforming my canvas into a visual narrative of personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions. My goal is to create artworks that resonate with viewers, allowing them to connect with the essence of each piece on a personal and emotional level.
