Thierry Noben

Thierry Noben is an artist photographer from Eischen, Luxembourg. Photography has always been a hobby for him, whether as a tool in his practice as an architect or as a means of preserving the memories of his travels.

However, his passion for photography is now taking a new direction, that of "artistic" photography. Inspired by the words of Remy Donadieu who said that photography embellishes misery by dressing it in light, Thierry Noben wishes, through his first series of photographs, to magnify matter.

By capturing damaged, worn, cracked or rusted objects, he seeks to convey an emotion and to reveal the beauty that remains in these elements and on these surfaces, despite their transformation by weather and time. His artistic gaze highlights the presence of a particular aesthetic, often overlooked, and invites viewers to discover the poetry that emanates from these everyday objects.

Thierry Noben lives and works in Eischen, where he continues to explore his passion for photography and develop his unique artistic vision. Her captivating images are a reflection of her artistic sensibility and her desire to reveal the beauty often hidden in the details of the world around her.
