Autodidacte, je consacre une part significative de mon temps et de ma recherche créative à la peinture et à la sculpture depuis 2020. Cet travail s'entremêle avec les recherches en histoire des sciences et mon travail d'écriture cinématographique et romanesque. J'aborde aussi bien le paysage, avec un goût pour la nuit et le désert, que des portraits d'objets notamment.
Mon parcours académique m'a conduit à soutenir une thèse de doctorat au Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle et à diriger le Muséum d'histoire naturelle du Havre pendant une quinzaine d'années.
Ayant quitté la fonction publique (j'étais conservateur en chef du patrimoine) pour plus de liberté et de créativité je partage mon temps entre une activité de conseil international et muséologie et celle d'artiste-auteur.
