Anh Luz, oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Nice, heeft in Italië en Parijs gewoond en verdeelt haar tijd nu tussen Gironde, Nice en Griekenland. Ze heeft in verschillende artistieke beroepen gewerkt, van kunstagent tot kostuumontwerper voor film en televisie, om uiteindelijk webdesigner, fotograaf en beeldend kunstenaar te worden. Anh Luz verkent verschillende gebieden die haar dierbaar zijn, zoals reflecties, grafiek, wijn en kunst in al zijn vormen. Ze mixt haar foto's om een visie op het leven en haar geheugen te ontdekken.
Fotograaf zijn is vooral een "oog" hebben... Op het moment van inspiratie dringt het uiteindelijke beeld zich op aan Anh Luz zonder dat er meerdere opnames nodig zijn, zelfs als ze een digitale camera gebruikt. Sommige van zijn foto's zijn natuurlijk afgewerkt, terwijl andere zich lenen voor het werken met effecten en overvloeiingen.
Haar artistieke denken bracht haar ertoe om licht en reflecties te onderzoeken, wat haar ertoe bracht om gedurende meerdere jaren met glas te werken (glaspasta, fusing en thermoforming). Waarom reflecties? "De reflectie is het verborgen gezicht van licht... en fotografie, antwoordt Anh Luz, is licht!"
Na een bezoek aan de retrospectieve Roy Lichtenstein in het Centre Georges Pompidou in oktober 2013, besloot Anh Luz zijn foto's digitaal te manipuleren. Na het project "From the Vine to the Glass", dat een terugkeer was naar de bronnen van natuurlijk licht, mixt ze haar foto's opnieuw om ons mee te nemen in haar droomwereld, altijd badend in licht. Zo is "miXmatch" geboren.
Tegenwoordig is Anh Luz geïnteresseerd in niet-virtuele collage en upcycling, waarbij ze nieuwe creatieve manieren verkent om haar kunst uit te drukken. Zijn artistieke reis weerspiegelt zijn onuitputtelijke passie voor licht, creativiteit en het voortdurend verkennen van nieuwe artistieke horizonten.
