Wat is de oorsprong van de Digitale fotografie techniek?

Digitale fotografie ontwikkelde zich vanaf de jaren 2000, met de democratisering van digitale camera's. Het is in tegenstelling tot filmfotografie door het feit dat het een fotografische techniek is die de omzetting van lichtinformatie in elektrische signalen mogelijk maakt. Het elektrische signaal van het beeld wordt tijdens de kwantisering vertaald in een matrix van luminantiewaarden. Het digitale beeld wordt verwerkt en opgeslagen in een elektronisch geheugenapparaat, typisch een flashgeheugenkaart van klein formaat.

Een beeld reproduceren van Platteland, bergen, bossen, steden, stranden ... is het doel van veel fotografen. Nicéphore Niépce , beschouwd als de uitvinder van de fotografie, combineert drie processen om afbeeldingen te fixeren op tinnen platen bedekt met Judese bitumen. De eerste foto in de geschiedenis stelt een landschap voor, een zicht op zijn eigendom in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes in Saône-et-Loire (Frankrijk). In 1888 maakte hij de eerste luchtfoto in de geschiedenis door de stad Labruguière in de Tarn (Frankrijk) te fotograferen.
