Stradivarius

Born in 1958 I am painting since childhood. Went to a Waldorf School, where I had a phantastic art teacher, now a known artist in Germany - Peter-Andreas Mothes. He inspired and taught me until I left school. But also music always played an important part in my life. I learned to play the violin for six years and with fourteen years switched to the flute, as I thought at that time, that a violin was too old fashioned. Now I no longer think so. For may years I sang in different choires and love all kind of music, mostly everything but lately I discovered the black blues, which faszinates me enourmously. In my pictures I try to express the beauty and variety of our world without neglecting the tragic parts and times of human life. My pictures do not show exact copies of the shown situations or people but display the emotional aspect. My present exhibitions carries the title "what a COLOURFUL world", which expresses very well my feelings, thoughts and emotions.
