Guy Ngono

Born in 1987, Guy-Gerard Ngono is a Visual Artist who currently resides and works in the Netherlands. The artist is interested in Social-politic. He is mainly inspired by his life experience, emphasizing, and exploring notions like synergy, coexistence, memory, and identity through abstract and figurative approaches. He pools various languages, and visions, using techniques such as assemblage, drawing, painting, collage, etc.

Guy-Gerard Ngono got the 1st prize in the 2008's painting contest of the Spanish cultural center in Cameroon, and the 2nd prize in Engelbert Mveng's Art contest for youth, 3rd edition 2004. and he took part in several Art residences and workshops in Cameroon between 2004 and 2008. He completed his secondary studies at the Institute of Arts in Mbalmayo in Cameroon, and then in 2015, he obtained his degree in Architectural Engineering at the Polytechnic of Krakow (Poland). Since then he has slowly returned to Art.

I question and I invite reflection for a fairer world, where the rules alone are not enough for access to justice and equity.
