Filming for the TWILIGHT saga took place in Portland in a 1950s home built by architect Arthur Erickson. Three floors, modernist architecture and design icons like the Barcelona Daybed designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for Knoll in Edward's room.
We all know how clean and discreet the design of the house is, there are not many paintings, but they are. To hang a picture in this house, it must meet the spirit of the house: cold color, laconic palette, modern techniques, simplicity of composition and framing, creative and unusual plot - that's what this picture has. A mix of materials was used in its creation: paper, acrylic and textile. It is only worth putting it behind the glass and it will acquire the desired gloss and all visible roughness will be smoothed out.

Hi! My name is Natalia Simakova and I am decorator, arсhitect & painter (nic N.Si, b.1986 Russia)
I have architecture education in Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts.
In Art I love nature, especially the forest and the sea. I have created so many things in the style of marine fauna and I continue to do it.Sometimes I like to create a basic architectural form, but next time I would create a bright picture with a simple composition.
"Nature, architecture, and especially people inspire me. But not so much their appearance, but their thoughts on how to make life more beautiful, more useful and more technologically advanced.
I believe that every person who lives consciously watches what he eats, what he says, what he thinks about. Order starts with simple things, this idea is reflected in my paintings. I love simple compositions, smooth lively lines, but complex colors. I am very inspired by deep shades, and especially their combinations, which are obtained by mixing several pigments. When you look at them, it is difficult to reveal them, but if you understand, you will already fall in love forever.
I strive for awareness by comprehensively studying myself and the world. And I do it through creativity: mixing techniques and materials. I combine gypsum with artificial additives with natural materials, plaster with acrylic, both in mixture and on top of the relief, and if the mood is enthusiastic, I can add sweaty shine. Thus, the volume of the picture can appear from the texture or on the plane.
I like the parable of Goethe. He stuffed his pockets with flower seeds and now, where he walked, the fields bloom.
So I strive to leave a mark with my work and delight collectors for many years.
