Provenance:
- this painting was exhibited at the artist's solo exhibition at Portal 11 Gallery (Kiev, Ukraine in september 2021; title of exhibition "Isometrics of reality").

"We all know about the cases when guys fight, but I was very amazed when I saw on the video how girls do it... to complete my impression, look at the behavior of cats, they also prepare for the attack. The fight takes place on the playground" - commented the artist Natasha Steshenko.

STESHENKO Natasha is a Kiev artist. She studied at the Kiev Polytechnic University in the Department of Graphics, where she was introduced to academic drawing, painting, illustration and design. All the time is in a creative search and experiments. Tries different ways of creating images: pencil and pastel drawings, oil and watercolor painting, monumental painting, vector and raster graphics, 3D, as well as combinations of these techniques.

In the period from 2011 to 2020 - took part in more than 10 exhibitions in Kiev (Book Arsenal, 2014; Portal 11 Gallery, "Portal Art Prize 2020" exhibition, etc.).

In 2013 she received an award named after Alexey Shtunina "For exceptional design and illustration of the publication.

As the artist herself notes:

"Our world is actually isometric. Why have we never noticed that? Because we see everything in perspective. Perspective is the ability of our eye to distort reality, formed in the process of evolution. It helps us navigate our way through space, the size and distance of the objects around us. When we look at the rectangular surface of a desk, we see a reduction in perspective, even though the desk does not actually change in size. It's a property of the real world that we don't see. That's why I like isometry, it helps to portray the world as closer to reality".

Studied at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute in the department of graphics, was a game developer and web designer.
I started taking an interest in drawing at the age of three, and all my relatives said from childhood he would be an artist! At school I was not interested in any subject except drawing, so my parents did not interfere in any way and only promoted my development in this direction.
In my works I try to depict modern phenomena and everyday life. Already there have been more than 10 art exhibitions with the works of Steshenko Natalia. But the artist does not stop and all the time is in creative search and experiments.
