To me this acrylic painting (120x80) of this landscape at sunset evokes peace. Sometimes when I want to relax I just sit in front of it and my mind becomes silent. The clouds in the bottom left corner give it an aerial feeling, almost dreamy. The sunset sky is fiery, the top of the cliff and mountain on the bottom right corner ground you on solid earth, [...]
To me this acrylic painting (120x80) of this landscape at sunset evokes peace. Sometimes when I want to relax I just sit in front of it and my mind becomes silent. The clouds in the bottom left corner give it an aerial feeling, almost dreamy. The sunset sky is fiery, the top of the cliff and mountain on the bottom right corner ground you on solid earth, and the white chalk cliff has a watery quality to it, almost like a waterfall. Air, Fire, Earth and Water, all elements are present in this painting giving it a very special mood conducive to meditation and silence. Ideal for your favorite place to sit quietly and relax.

Monica Le Crom is a French and Colombian artist, born in Honduras and based in Amsterdam. She started painting as a child and is a self taught multidisciplinary artist, using a diverse range of traditional and mixed mediums, including acrylic paint, pastel, watercolor and illustration.  


She considers herself a world citizen and in her walks and travels, she embraces fully the present moment, discovering the wonders that surround her. Each stroke of her brush, guided by this deep connection to the here and now, fills her creative process with a profound sense of silence and inner peace. With her paintings of landscapes and evocative portrayals of animals and humans, the artist extends an invitation to the viewers - a journey towards unity: we are all One and the World, in all its magnificent diversity, is our shared Home.
