I can’t help seeing images in ornaments of all sorts: wallpaper, marble tiles, clouds, abstract pictures. And once I’ve spotted an image, I can’t unsee it. It’s a habit from childhood, when I didn’t have many real objects to satisfy my imaginative hunger, so I switched to ornaments and visual rhythms. One of the images, that’s stuck with me for years was a hand, or perhaps it was a bird head. Or maybe a hand, still? Guess not, it must’ve been a bird, after all.
This imaginative tongue-twister impressed me so much, that I’ve developed a weird interest in my own hands and forearms. I used to secretly find trees among my veins and draw over them with beautiful shades of blue and purple. And sometimes it felt nice to have some flowers. It literally felt nice to draw on the skin. And it’s not that I don’t draw on my forearms anymore, it’s just I don’t do it in secret anymore.
Once time I put my hand against a sheet of paper and drew around it. At that moment I recalled a long-forgotten image of the bird-hand. And it was pleasantly ticklish to draw on my skin again. So this creature was born, however it was incomplete. Only when watching “Howl’s Moving Castle” I realised what was missing: the feathers! Fluffy and soft to the touch of a loving hand. The creature had to wait, still, until I matched the eyes, and it because complete.

The drawing is a regular A3 size (29.7 * 42 cm H/W).
The work full of details and of gallery premium quality, high resolution, unframed.
I used markers and liners to create the texture of feathers.
The artwork is thought-provoking, and would look perfect in a work room, study room or living-room.

Técnica Desenho

O desenho é uma técnica de representação visual sobre um suporte plano. O termo "desenho" designa tanto a ação de desenhar, o trabalho gráfico resultante quanto a forma de qualquer objeto. É também uma representação em uma superfície da forma (e possivelmente os valores de luz e sombra) de um objeto ou figura, ao invés de sua cor. Existem um grande número de técnicas de desenho: “Desenho linear” representa os objetos pelos seus contornos, arestas e algumas linhas características; além desse limite, o desenho se desenvolve representando o volume por sombras, muitas vezes por meio de hachuras, incorpora cores e une, sem transição nítida, a pintura.

An aspiring artist from the heart of Siberia doomed to warm up all my joints every 40-60 minutes due to a genetic condition. A socially awkward extroverted introvert, sexually attracted to music.

I've been drawing and painting for as long as I remember. Mainly horses, dinosaurs and other fantastic beats I imagined. I enjoyed coming up with a backstory for every creature I created: like, where it lived, or how it behaved, what happened to it, or if it had any friends or family. Oftentimes, I wrote those stories by hand on the back of the drawings.

In my teens, when I finally had an Internet access, I came across a manga & anime forum where contemporary artists tried this art style for the first time. I got mesmerised and spent hours looking at their artworks, they looked so fresh, nothing like I've seen before. Then I got into watching anime. At that time, it wasn't as popular and there were no online streaming services, so I had to put some effort to find a series to watch. Surprisingly enough, I didn't want to copy this style, I just liked certain elements to it and the sense freedom of expression. Its creativity blew my mind and influenced me a lot. It was then and there that I met my first artistic love -- a contemporary artist by the pen-name Nonhuman. And it struck me for the first time: you don't have to be dead and part of history to be an artist. I realised I could very well become an artist myself.

Although a self-taught artist, I enjoy attending courses, workshops and lessons here and there and will continue doing so to ensure further quality growth. I am open to experimenting, collaborations and willing to try different styles.
