Miyako Shimizu (Galactic Miya Art)

I was born in Shiga, Japan, and grew up surrounded by nature and traditional Japanese spirituality in my everyday life. After training as a professional chef of traditional Japanese cuisine, I began managing a Japanese restaurant at the age of 38.

Then one day — somewhere between a dream and reality — I saw a vision of a universal mandala. I felt it was a message from the Wisdom of the Universe.

On September 4, 2022, I was inspired to paint that mandala. It felt like guidance from a higher dimensional world. Even though I had no experience in painting, I began creating artwork and stepped into the world of expression.

My artwork expresses the wisdom from higher dimensions. Using carefully selected Japanese paper, I create watercolor paintings with sacred water sourced from two spiritual locations in Japan. Holding a Lemurian crystal in my left hand, I carefully depict a world beyond time and space on paper.
