Massiel's painting emerges from his aesthetic ideal centered on irregular shapes, provocation and lines, a style that allows him to express visions. His color strokes integrate each other, creating a rhythmic unity on the surface of the canvas. The confrontation of beauty and deformation expresses the artist's desire to create sensuality through imperfections. Warm colors and dripping paint transport your characters to a floating reality. In the face of the figures, the movement of the body suggests a state of mind, sensations sublimated by sighs. In order to represent his perceptions, Massiel releases his purposefully irregular line, elongated bodies separate chromatically, the painting gains thickness, leaves visible accumulations, shapes are drawn, layer by layer.
