Mariia Raskin is een hedendaagse bekroonde abstracte schilder uit Turkije. Ze is vervuld van de energie van verrukking uit het oneindig grote heelal, de pracht van de natuur en de levensvreugde, die ze liefdevol uitdrukt in haar schilderijen, of het nu abstracte landschappen of portretten zijn. Haar methode van schilderen, die acryl- en glasverf combineert, stelt haar in staat bepaalde concepten te realiseren en ongewone en rijke kleurenpaletten te creëren. Ze creëert de dramatische nevenschikking van energie en vrede in haar kunstwerken met behulp van brede volumetrische paletmesstreken met nauwgezette subtiele details.

Mariia Raskin werd geboren in 1979 in Kazachstan. Ze studeerde af aan de Textile University, Department of Fine Arts in Moskou, Rusland, en aan de Triphon Icon Painting School in Moskou, Rusland. Raskin exposeerde haar schilderijen in Turkije, Spanje, de VS, Zwitserland, Tsjechië en Rusland. Ze is lid van de International Association of Art.
